The Virtue of Visiting Al-Aqsa – Especially in the End Times
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Do not set out for a journey except to three mosques: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim
Al-Aqsa is Islam’s first Qiblah, the site of Al-Isra’ and Al-Mi’raj, and one of the three sacred mosques chosen by Allah.
A prayer there is worth 500 prayers (Musnad Ahmad – authentic).
It has been a center of tawheed, struggle, and sacred connection since the time of the Prophets.
A Prophetic Sign for the End Times
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“A time will come when a person will wish to have just a small spot of land from where he can see Al-Bayt al-Maqdis — and that will be dearer to him than the whole world.”
— Musnad Ahmad
From the Salaf – Imam al-Shafi‘i (رحمه الله) said:
“I recommend visiting Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and praying there, especially during times of hardship.”
Visiting Al-Aqsa is more than a journey — it’s a revival of Sunnah, a connection to prophetic history, and a stand with one of the holiest sites in Islam.
